About the role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting two Consultant Physicians in Geriatric Medicine for Letterkenny University Hospital. This permanent, whole‑time position offers 37 hours per week and is open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical care in geriatric medicine to patients at Letterkenny University Hospital.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams within the HSE West and North West health region.
• Contribute to the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑focused services in line with HSE standards.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor with appropriate registration.
• Eligibility to practice as a consultant physician in geriatric medicine.
• Willingness to work in the Donegal health region.
