DevOps Engineer – European Sovereign Cloud Initiative

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead operations and expansion of a European Sovereign Cloud initiative. You will work with global teams to shape cloud services, ensuring high availability, reliability and performance across critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and scaling of the sovereign cloud platform.
• Collaborate with international teams to define and evolve cloud service offerings.
• Improve service availability, latency, performance and efficiency.
• Develop, test and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational workflows.
• Continuously refine operational procedures and service health monitoring.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to resolve incidents outside normal hours.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English and compliant with EU cloud operating requirements.
• Strong background in Linux system administration and network troubleshooting or administration.
• Experience in systems engineering, site reliability engineering, and operating large‑scale infrastructures.
• Proven ability to create and improve standard operating procedures and drive best practices.
