About the role

Regeneron is seeking a Director of Government Affairs for Europe to shape and advance its public policy strategy across key markets. The role involves leading advocacy efforts, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, and navigating complex healthcare systems to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead government affairs and public policy activities across assigned European markets.
• Manage relationships with external consultants to strengthen advocacy and policy influence.
• Develop and execute advocacy strategies that align with corporate priorities and mitigate regulatory risks.
• Monitor legislative developments, assess business impact, and prepare briefing materials.
• Represent Regeneron in external forums, stakeholder engagements, and high‑level discussions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure policy initiatives support overall business goals.
• Support the implementation of EU policies at the national level to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Demonstrated experience working with European healthcare systems and policy environments.
• Proven ability to manage external stakeholders or consultants.
• Fluency in English; additional European language (German, French, Italian, or Spanish) is an advantage.
