Director, Technical Program Management

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Director of Technical Program Management to lead the engineering delivery of its next‑generation cross‑border payments platform within the Treasury Management domain. Based in Dublin, you will shape the strategy and execution of solutions that centralise cash, payments and FX risk management for a global business.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the end‑to‑end design, build and operation of Treasury Management solutions on the cross‑border payments platform.
• Plan, prioritize and oversee work of globally distributed engineering teams, managing dependencies and removing impediments.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Product and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Deep‑dive into the technology stack, integration patterns and organisational capabilities to craft scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers and program managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a hands‑on technical program manager at director or senior level.
• Track record of delivering complex, large‑scale technology programmes in payments or financial services.
• Strong ability to work with global, cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
