Finance Manager – Broad Ownership Commercial Role

About the role

This is a broad Finance Manager opportunity with a growing Irish business in South Dublin. The company is entering a rapid growth phase, focusing on improving visibility, reporting and commercial decision‑making. You will work closely with leadership, get involved in day‑to‑day operations and help shape finance, reporting and management information as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end reporting and management information.
• Improve management reporting and visibility for leadership.
• Document finance processes and systems.
• Identify opportunities to enhance controls, reporting and efficiency.
• Improve accruals, reporting quality and confidence in the numbers.
• Support budgeting, analysis and commercial decision‑making.
• Collaborate with operational and leadership teams across the business.
• Support audit and liaise with external advisors as required.
• Supervise and support a small finance team.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA).
• Practice‑trained or experience in a hands‑on SME finance environment.
• Curious, practical and commercially minded.
• Strong analytical capability.
• Comfortable improving processes and asking questions.
• Low ego, collaborative and strong communicator.
• Interest in getting closer to operations and decision‑making.
