Financial Controller

About the role

The group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team. This role goes beyond traditional finance, acting as a commercial partner that influences operational decisions, strengthens governance, and delivers financial insight across a fast‑moving organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and compliance for a UK‑listed parent company.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packs in line with listed‑group standards.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives across finance, operations, HR, treasury and project costing.
• Support governance, compliance and operational performance across the group.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to translate financial data into actionable business insight.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in a commercial finance or management accounting role.
• Strong analytical and reporting capability.
• Highly organised, confident communicator with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
