Finishing Foreman / Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman / Site Manager to join a leading building contractor on a prestigious construction project in the Clare region. The role involves overseeing high‑quality finishing works across a range of sectors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all finishing trades on site, ensuring superior quality and compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate daily site activities, liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the main contractor.
• Monitor progress, health & safety standards, and site productivity.
• Report to senior management on project status, risks, and any issues affecting delivery.
• Ensure that all works meet the high‑finish expectations of commercial, hotel, retail, education, and healthcare projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in site management or foremanship on diverse construction projects.
• Degree in a construction‑related discipline or a trade qualification with relevant experience.
• Proven main‑contracting experience within the Irish built environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects with exceptionally high levels of finish.
