Site Manager – Large Construction Project in Clare

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a large‑scale construction project in the Clare region of Ireland. You will work closely with the Project Manager and the design team to ensure the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and manage site logistics, deliveries and traffic.
• Develop and maintain look‑ahead programmes and control schedules.
• Chair site meetings, prepare progress reports and maintain the site diary.
• Raise RFIs, issue material requisitions and monitor quality standards.
• Oversee site set‑up, security, health and safety compliance and liaise with clients, architects and engineers.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience on diverse construction projects (commercial, hotels, retail, education, residential, hospitals, fit‑out, etc.).
• Degree in a construction‑related discipline or a trade background with relevant experience.
• Proven main‑contracting experience and a strong track record in the Irish built environment.
• Familiarity with high‑finish projects and current Irish health and safety construction regulations.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for progress reporting and programme management.
• Knowledge of Irish health and safety construction regulations.
• Experience preparing and maintaining site diaries and daily logs.
