Full Stack Developer (Hybrid – Galway/Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the Mobile Apps team working on the MyNavy application. The role is based in Ireland with a hybrid arrangement – one week per month in our Galway office and the remainder remote. The contract runs for 11 months, starting as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain existing applications and develop new features for the MyNavy native app.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for current and upcoming projects.
• Write high‑quality code and create automated unit and end‑to‑end tests.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback and collaborate with developers and test engineers.
• Interpret functional requirements, contribute to project scheduling and ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in formal design reviews and follow Agile and TDD practices.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and customer‑focused.
• Ability to work independently, resolve issues and escalate when necessary.

Required skills

• Front‑end development with Angular.
• Back‑end development using Java.
• Experience with AWS, specifically EKS.
