General Operative – Production Line (Westmeath)

About the role

As a General Operative at O'Brien Fine Foods you will join the Green Farm site in Rathowen, Co. Westmeath, helping to produce high‑quality chicken and turkey products. You will work on a fast‑paced production line, ensuring that every item meets the company’s strict quality and taste standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and in‑process products to verify compliance with quality specifications.
• Prepare products for cooking, including measuring and adding the correct flavour mixes.
• Operate cooking and slicing equipment, maintaining line flow and meeting production targets.
• Package finished goods, apply correct labelling and complete required documentation.
• Report or reject any product that does not meet established standards.

Required skills

• Understanding of food safety and quality procedures.
