HR Business Partner – 12 Month Fixed Term (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term HR Business Partner role supports a defined business unit in Dublin, combining strategic insight with day‑to‑day HR operations. You will partner with senior leaders to drive performance, engagement and retention while working in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Business Unit leadership to deliver the people strategy.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through exit.
• Lead workforce and resource planning to meet future capability needs.
• Support and coach managers on performance, probation and talent management.
• Develop and implement employee retention initiatives.
• Lead disciplinary investigations and hearings.
• Drive succession planning with clear action plans.
• Prepare and present HR updates, data and people metrics to senior leadership.
• Oversee the annual pay review process.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance across the business.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist role.
• Excellent influencing, coaching and presentation capabilities.
• Resilient and confident, able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Relevant third‑level qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline.
• CIPD membership desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Advanced HR or similar).
