Infrastructure Engineer (Core)

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer (Core) to join Telnyx’s rock‑star infrastructure team. You will help build and scale our cloud‑agnostic platform that powers global connectivity, working closely with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, automated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain infrastructure provisioning automation across multi‑cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify pain points and improve internal architecture for scalability and resilience.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines, service mesh, and container orchestration solutions.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, including on‑premises deployments where applicable.
• Implement and maintain configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Terraform.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development and infrastructure operations experience.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes management and application development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go).
• Expert knowledge of at least one configuration language (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Linux networking, operating systems and basic protocols (DNS, HTTP, TLS).
