IT Hardware Provisioning Specialist

About the role

The IT Hardware Provisioning Specialist coordinates the shipping, setup, and return of devices such as phones, laptops, and smart speakers for client events, trade shows, and workshops. You will work closely with product, marketing, and external agency teams to ensure all hardware is ready, functional, and delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end logistics for event devices, including packing, shipping, and return to the office.
• Prepare devices by performing software updates, flashing firmware, resetting, and configuring phones, tablets, and other hardware.
• Gather event requirements from stakeholders and maintain an event schedule with minimal supervision.
• Communicate with internal requestors and external vendors to align on timelines and technical feasibility.
• Track project metrics, generate reports, and suggest process improvements.
• Provide on‑site support during busy periods, including unpacking, setup, and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to support on‑site events.
• Ability to work independently and follow company policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Device setup and configuration (phones, tablets, laptops, smart speakers).
• Software updates, flashing, and troubleshooting of hardware.
• Proficiency with Google Suite.
