About the role
The Key Account Manager is a commercial leader within the International Wholesale Division, reporting to the Director of International Wholesale. The role drives profitable growth through strategic pricing, detailed sales analysis, and proactive account management, holding direct commercial ownership of assigned customer accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between assigned customers and the company.
- Own sales revenue, gross profit, margins and delivery of sales targets for assigned accounts.
- Develop and sustain solid relationships with customers and create account plans to support retention and expansion.
- Prepare and lead quotations and tenders, ensuring commercial viability and margin protection.
- Address and resolve all customer queries and complaints.
- Enter enquiries and offers into the system accurately and timely.
- Use licences, market intelligence and IQVIA data to identify new product and sales growth opportunities.
- Monitor account performance against targets and take corrective or growth‑driving actions.
- Coordinate with warehouse, finance, IT and regulatory teams to meet commercial and operational requirements.
- Understand freight options, rates and terms, and employ pricing strategies that meet business objectives.
- Present account performance, sales results and growth plans in meetings.
Required profile
- Commercial ownership of assigned customer accounts.
- Ability to develop and execute account plans and growth strategies.
- Strong analytical skills for sales revenue, gross profit and margin analysis.
- Experience in strategic pricing and margin optimisation.
- Proactive communication with internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
