Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack & Data Pipelines

About the role

Mastercard is seeking an innovative software engineering manager to lead a team that designs and builds a full‑stack web application and associated data pipelines. The role sits within the Data & Services team, supporting advanced analytics products that drive credit risk, portfolio optimization, and advertising insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small, agile team in the end‑to‑end development of a responsive web UI and backend services.
• Architect and implement data pipelines, API‑based data publishing, and scalable big‑data processes.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Enhance existing products with new user interfaces and data‑driven capabilities.
• Drive best practices in agile development, code quality, and continuous delivery.
