About the role

Join Mastercard's Operations & Technology Fraud Products team to lead the development of high‑performance, high‑volume solutions for the Decision Management Platform. You will drive innovation in fraud detection and cardholder identity validation, delivering secure, scalable Java‑based software that processes billions of transactions each month.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day systems development and maintenance, ensuring SLA compliance and rapid time‑to‑market.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design to testing, performance benchmarking, release rollout, and contingency planning.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and global development teams.
• Develop secure, scalable Java applications and apply best practices for automated testing, code quality, delivery, and monitoring.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers through code reviews, UML documentation, and technical guidance.
• Investigate production incidents, feed learnings back into development, and participate in PoCs and vendor evaluations.
• Conduct brown‑bag sessions on emerging technologies and frameworks.
