Lifeguard – Trainee / Qualified

About the role

As a Lifeguard at Center Parcs Longford Forest you will ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests in our subtropical swimming area. You will uphold the highest health‑and‑safety standards while providing friendly, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas, intervene in emergencies and perform rescues.
• Deliver first‑aid and CPR assistance when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Provide courteous customer service to all guests.
• Complete the 5‑day NPLQ training course and demonstrate required rescue skills.

Required profile

• Strong swimmer able to complete a swim test (50 m in 55 seconds).
• RLSS Pool Lifeguard or IWS qualification (qualified lifeguards only).
• Completion of 20 hours of continued professional development.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate effectively.
• Availability for shifts between 8 am‑8 pm, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
