Maintenance Technician

About the role

PCI is seeking a permanent Maintenance Technician to join its Stamullen, County Meath site. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, on‑site and supports the production of life‑changing biopharma therapies. You will ensure equipment reliability, minimise downtime and uphold GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform machine change‑overs, address stoppages and breakdowns within target times.
• Execute planned routine maintenance and keep maintenance schedules up to date.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults to an expert level.
• Program PLCs and contribute to technically complex improvement projects.
• Design, develop and validate new or modified equipment and processes.
• Create and manage MOCs through the QMS.
• Lead A3 problem‑solving activities and root‑cause analysis for major issues.
• Maintain clean, tidy and secure maintenance areas and equipment.
• Document all maintenance actions, tooling logs, PPM sheets and change‑over records accurately.

Required profile

• Experience in industrial maintenance within a GMP environment.
• Ability to work safely, follow EHS procedures and report near‑misses.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and equipment optimisation.
• Strong communication with production, engineering and management teams.
