Master Scheduler – Supply Chain Planning

About the role

The Master Scheduler will own the development and maintenance of a constrained Master Production Schedule (cMPS) that aligns site capacity with global network requirements. This role is pivotal for balancing demand and supply, ensuring timely product delivery, and supporting strategic decision‑making across Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a monthly constrained Master Production Schedule based on net requirements.
• Perform site capacity planning for resources, shifts, equipment, and planned shutdowns.
• Lead Rough‑Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) reviews and identify improvement opportunities.
• Chair the Site Latest Estimate process and ensure alignment with the Net Requirements Plan.
• Collaborate with global teams to identify and mitigate capacity constraints across the network.
• Utilize SAP APO or offline tools for scenario modelling and predictive analytics.
• Partner with data analytics teams to create KPI dashboards and apply AI/ML‑based forecasting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in master production scheduling and site capacity planning.
• Demonstrated ability to lead Rough‑Cut Capacity Planning reviews.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in scenario modelling and predictive analytics.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global supply chain and data analytics teams.
