Mobile App UI Designer – Dublin

About the role

Tapadoo is looking for a Mobile App UI Designer to join its Dublin team. You will work closely with the Lead Designer, developers, project managers and clients to turn ideas into polished, user‑friendly mobile experiences for iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Design intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for native iOS and Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
• Translate complex workflows into clear, usable screens and interactions.
• Create and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
• Produce high‑fidelity prototypes, motion concepts and transitions to communicate interaction details.
• Present design decisions confidently and iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Explore modern tools, including AI‑assisted design approaches, to improve workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile UI design, visual hierarchy, typography and interaction thinking.
• Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbal.
• Collaborative mindset with a low‑ego approach to feedback and iteration.
• Interest in motion design, animation and interactive prototyping.

Required skills

• Designing for iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficiency with Figma.
• Knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Knowledge of Google Material Design principles.
• Motion design, animation and interactive prototyping.
• Curiosity about AI‑assisted design tools.
