Part-Time Food & Beverage Assistant – Cork International Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Part‑Time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at the Cork International Hotel. You will help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while supporting the high standards of the Trigon Hotel Group.

Key responsibilities

• Report for duty on time and wear the correct uniform.
• Prepare the restaurant and service areas before each shift.
• Set tables to required standards and keep service stations clean, organised and fully stocked.
• Prepare mise en place for upcoming shifts.
• Serve food and beverages in the restaurant, bar, meeting rooms and banqueting areas.
• Take guest orders, process billing and complete end‑of‑shift cash‑ups.
• Provide professional, friendly service during events and functions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all Food & Beverage areas, including linen stock control.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role is welcomed.
• Warm, positive personality with a genuine interest in guest care.
• Team player who can also work independently when needed.
• Available to work weekdays (mostly) and weekends (day and evening shifts).
• Commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards.
