Part‑time General Assistant – Retail

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic part‑time General Assistants to join our SuperValu store in Omagh. In this role you will help create a welcoming shopping environment, support customers and ensure the store runs smoothly during your scheduled hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service on the shop floor.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point‑of‑sale system.
• Rotate stock daily to maintain product freshness and comply with date‑labelling standards.
• Uphold health and hygiene standards within your designated area.
• Follow closing down and hand‑over procedures at the end of each shift.

Required profile

• Availability to work flexible evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to commit to a 20‑hour permanent contract.
• Desirable: previous experience in a similar retail or customer‑service role.
