Political Scientist - AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Political Scientist with strong quantitative expertise to join our DataAnnotation team as an AI Trainer. In this fully remote position you will work directly with state-of-the-art AI models, evaluating and improving their ability to perform rigorous data-driven analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI-generated quantitative work for technical accuracy and real-world validity, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and scientific reasoning.
• Design and solve quantitative problems that are used to train and benchmark AI systems (forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, statistical inference).
• Write clear technical explanations and well-documented analytical code.
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models for quantitative reasoning.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a quantitative role or research environment (e.g., data science, economics, physics, biology, operations research).
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.

Required skills

• Coding experience for writing and reviewing analytical code end-to-end.
• Practical knowledge of statistical methods and predictive modeling.
• Experience with experiment design, A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
