PQS Operator – 11‑Month Fixed‑Term (Manufacturing)

About the role

embecta is seeking a PQS Operator for an 11‑month fixed‑term contract at its Dun Laoghaire plant, the Worldwide Centre of Excellence for Pen Needle Manufacturing. The role supports operational needs by monitoring and maintaining production and quality performance in a GMP‑compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production and quality performance to meet specified standards.
• Perform routine adjustments, repairs, and maintenance on manufacturing machines.
• Record production and testing data in line with SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Utilise existing technology and acquire new skills for emerging tools and equipment.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement, Quality Improvement Programme, Lean and Six Sigma projects.
• Document work accurately and communicate findings clearly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with manufacturing IT systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
