Process Technician – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term in Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

Join Sanmina Fermoy’s Production Department as a Process Technician on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work on 12‑hour rotating shifts, supporting the manufacturing of Class III medical devices in a fully automated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve planned production output for Class III medical devices.
• Maintain machine performance and maximise uptime.
• Troubleshoot product defects, process issues, and equipment faults.
• Adjust and set up equipment to meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Support engineering in commissioning and validating new high‑volume production equipment.
• Contribute to safety, quality, compliance and continuous‑improvement targets.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in electrical, mechanical or fitter trade.
• At least 12 months experience in automation control, tool‑making, maintenance, or related electrical/mechanical roles.
• Hands‑on problem‑solver with ability to identify and escalate critical errors.
