Production Operative

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operative to join our fast‑moving manufacturing site in Dublin. You will be responsible for operating equipment safely, maintaining production flow, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a consumer‑goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery according to best practices while adhering to health, safety and company policies.
• Provide comprehensive production service, including plant operation, scheduled maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns.
• Monitor production lines, conduct quality checks and ensure products meet established standards.
• Perform quality‑assurance analysis and update relevant information systems promptly.
• Participate actively in continuous‑improvement projects, applying lean techniques and root‑cause problem solving.
• Develop and maintain performance standards using KPIs such as overall equipment effectiveness.

Required profile

• Direct manufacturing operational experience in a fast‑paced consumer‑goods setting.
• Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance principles and machinery control.
• Working knowledge of SAP and EWM systems.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, HSE applications and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent and a Basic Hygiene Certificate.
• Forklift licence preferred.
