Qualified Person (Veterinary Medicinal)

About the role

Phibro Animal Health Corporation is seeking a Qualified Person to join its Quality team at the Sligo site in Ireland. The role ensures that every commercial batch of veterinary medicinal products complies with Irish law, EU GMP guidelines and the Veterinary Medicinal Directive.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that each batch is manufactured, tested and released in accordance with the relevant marketing authorisation and EU Good Manufacturing Practice.
• Issue the Qualified Person certification and batch release documentation.
• Apply cGMP principles to manufacturing and testing activities.
• Support internal audits and external inspections, providing technical and compliance documentation.
• Manage stakeholder communication and escalation of quality issues.

Required profile

• University degree equivalent to an L8 scientific qualification.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Ireland that satisfies the Veterinary Medicinal Directive 2019/6 (e.g., Masters in Pharmaceutical Science/QP).
• Relevant pharmaceutical experience with compliance to Article 97 of the Veterinary Medicinal Directive.
• Experience as a named Qualified Person for a licensed facility is preferred.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
