About the role
The Regulatory Scientist will anticipate regulatory changes and assess their impact on Kinisla’s business, enabling proactive actions. You will be recognised externally as a regulatory expert, lead committees and working groups, and identify opportunities that drive business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Embed the regulatory operating model and support customer regulatory queries.
- Maintain accurate data and systems while providing expert regulatory and scientific advice.
- Prepare strategic documentation for raw materials, finished goods, labeling, packaging, tariff classification and statements.
- Support commercialisation of compliant new product introductions.
- Assist Quality, Marketing, NPI and Commercial teams with legislative queries and interpretation.
- Manage relationships with trade associations and government agencies.
- Lead horizon scanning, food fraud monitoring, recall/alert management and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross‑site responses to regulators and customers on emerging issues.
- Support third‑country registrations and perform country compliance checks.
- Develop regulatory strategy and ICT support systems to ensure consistency across sites.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in the food/dairy industry within regulatory, QA or RDA roles.
- Familiarity with national or international trade associations and EU food legislation is advantageous.
- Highly accurate, organised and able to work quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong initiative, self‑motivation and excellent time‑management skills.
- Effective collaboration and interpersonal abilities.
- Aptitude for systems development and continuous improvement.
