Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join its Dublin team. This hybrid role combines on‑site presence three days a week with two days of remote work, providing commercial and contractual leadership across major infrastructure projects from tender to final account.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure alignment with AECOM’s Contract Management standards and compliance with the selected contract suite (e.g., NEC).
• Provide assurance that contract administration activities fully comply with contractual terms, reporting any non‑compliance.
• Develop and maintain effective commercial relationships with contractors and consultants, fostering collaborative delivery.
• Review and advise on draft contracts, coordinating input from legal, technical, and financial advisors.
• Lead contractual negotiations and guide Project Managers, Service Managers, and Programme Directors.
• Review and approve subcontractor documentation in line with contractual requirements.
• Certify payments and assess Defined Costs under NEC Option C and Option E contracts.
• Audit contractor and consultant accounts to ensure accurate cost recording.
• Analyse cost forecasts, pain/gain‑share mechanisms, and delay damages where required.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in contract management within large‑scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing contractual risk and compliance.
