Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of mechanical engineering projects from pre‑construction through commissioning and handover. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, schedule and implement mechanical project activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and industry experts to deliver cutting‑edge solutions.
• Manage project budgets, commercial contracts and P&L performance.
• Oversee combined mechanical/electrical projects where applicable.
• Lead and develop cross‑functional project teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience post‑qualification.
• Relevant third‑level qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with project programmes, including CSA activities.
• Proven ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Experience managing medium to large‑scale building services projects; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
