Senior Engineer – Site Management for ESB Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead site‑based civil and utilities works for ESB projects across Dublin and Meath. The role involves day‑to‑day management of multiple sites, ensuring safe and on‑time delivery in line with ESB standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations for ESB and utilities projects.
• Coordinate site managers, teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with ESB standards, permits, RAMS and health & safety requirements.
• Liaise with ESB representatives and internal project stakeholders.
• Monitor programme progress and report to senior management.
• Maintain quality standards and deliver works to specification.
• Keep accurate site records and documentation.

Required profile

• Relevant Irish construction or engineering qualification (advantageous but not essential).
• Minimum 2 years experience on ESB or utilities projects.
• Proven site management experience in civil or utilities works.
• Strong knowledge of ESB safety systems and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing live construction environments and subcontractor teams.
• Valid Safepass, Manual Handling certification and a full clean driving licence.
