Senior Lecturer – Pharmacy (Teaching & Research)

About the role

The University of New South Wales is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice to join its Kensington Campus. This full‑time, permanent role combines high‑quality teaching with an active research agenda in health services and pharmacy practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pharmacy practice education across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, using clinical and simulation‑based methods.
• Design learning activities, assessments and resources that meet accreditation standards.
• Coordinate courses, ensure quality assurance and participate in clinical assessments.
• Develop and lead a research programme, secure grant funding, supervise HDR students and publish scholarly work.
• Contribute to curriculum development and engage in school‑wide academic activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Pharmacy and current registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching pharmacy practice skills and research methods.
• Significant research experience, including successful grant applications and high‑impact publications.
• Strong record of student mentorship and ability to foster an inclusive learning environment.
