Senior .NET Software Engineer – Remote (Ireland)

About the role

TechHeads is looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join a fast‑growing US client. The role is fully remote from Ireland and offers the chance to own complex, high‑performance systems while collaborating with distributed teams in the US and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable applications using .NET 6/7+, C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Lead architecture decisions for micro‑services and event‑driven systems.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps and engineering teams across the US.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers and promote best coding, testing and deployment practices.
• Contribute to performance optimisation, system reliability and agile planning.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core and API design.
• Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable systems.
• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with US‑based teams.
• Experience mentoring or leading developers.
