Senior Procurement Advisor – Capital Projects (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Advisor to join a leading consulting practice that delivers large‑scale capital projects across energy, transport, housing, healthcare and utilities. Based in Dublin with a hybrid working model, you will advise public‑sector clients on procurement strategy, execution and risk management for construction and infrastructure programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with Irish and EU public procurement regulations.
• Lead competitive procurement processes, from market analysis to contract negotiation.
• Assess supplier capacity and capability, monitor performance and manage commercial risks.
• Provide expert guidance on contract forms, legal and commercial implications for major capital projects.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams and client stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in large‑scale public procurement and capital infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in engineering, procurement, construction and/or contract law.
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior client executives and manage complex procurement programmes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on delivering compliant, market‑driven solutions.
