Senior Site Manager – Galway/Waterford

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead a major £10m+ construction project in Waterford. This permanent position joins a high‑performing team delivering multi‑million builds with clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Drive EHS, QA/QC and programme performance on site, maintaining best‑in‑class standards and records.
• Manage PMP/ITP compliance, BIM inspections, close‑out procedures, daily diaries, QA sheets and NCRs.
• Produce short‑term subcontractor programmes and contribute to weekly progress reporting.
• Maintain commercial discipline by understanding subcontract scopes, managing material call‑offs/GRNs and controlling dayworks and instructions.
• Lead inductions and RAMS compliance, including CSCS checks, and oversee welfare, security and stakeholder liaison.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, Building Control and statutory bodies.

Required profile

• Construction‑related degree.
• 5–10+ years’ experience with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK on projects valued at £10m or more.
