Senior/Assistant Manager – Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS)

About the role

EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is seeking a Senior/Assistant Manager to join its Dublin and Limerick offices. The role supports CFOs, controllers, treasurers and audit committees in navigating complex accounting, regulatory and finance transformation challenges within the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop solutions to complex technical accounting and regulatory issues.
• Stay current with industry, regulatory and accounting changes and proactively propose solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with client financial and regulatory reporting teams to deliver insights and improve reporting processes.
• Lead delivery of technical support on ad‑hoc accounting and regulatory queries across service lines and regions.
• Assist clients with implementation of new accounting standards, GAAP conversions and regulatory changes.
• Plan, execute and deliver large‑scale financial and accounting change engagements.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, acting as primary contact for senior client leaders.
• Leverage technology to share knowledge and enhance service delivery.
