Shuttle Driver

About the role

ImageFIRST is seeking a reliable Shuttle Driver to transport linen and related products between its facilities, potentially crossing state lines. The role involves loading, unloading, and delivering sheet carts while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Scan packages at shipping sites and verify proper shipping documentation.
• Load and unload sheet carts (approximately 20 carts per trip) during deliveries and pickups.
• Comply with company safety policies and commercial motor vehicle regulations.
• Coordinate with Plant Managers and Production Supervisors to meet product delivery needs.
• Unload, clean, and reload soiled linens onto the truck, handling carts weighing 300‑600 lb.
• Decontaminate the truck after each shift.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of truck driving experience.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification or ability to obtain one within the required timeframe.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical ability to push and pull 15‑20 sheet carts twice daily.
• High‑energy attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
