Staff Nurse – Registered Nurse (Ireland)

About the role

We are seeking a NMBI‑registered Staff Nurse to join our supportive team at Ethos Care Kilcummin Nursing Home in Ireland. The role involves delivering high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to our elderly residents while promoting their independence and dignity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high‑quality nursing care to residents, addressing physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Lead and supervise care staff, offering clinical guidance and support.
• Act as Nurse in Charge when required to ensure smooth operation of the home.
• Assist with inspections, audits and uphold standards of excellence.
• Promote resident independence and maintain a respectful environment.

Required profile

• Third‑level nursing degree.
• Active registration with NMBI (An Bord Altranais) and a valid PIN.
• Willingness or existing certification in Infection Control, Manual Handling, CPR, Medication Management, Safeguarding and Dementia Care.
• Passion for elderly care; nursing home experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts.
