Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead end‑to‑end planning for MM, ensuring the smooth flow of materials, products and information from suppliers to customers. This office‑based position requires close collaboration with sales, finance, procurement and logistics to meet service, cost and working‑capital targets.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute manufacturing plans that balance product availability with inventory and cost optimisation.
• Oversee customer order entry and ensure professional, timely communication.
• Monitor and improve on‑time‑in‑full (OTIF) service levels and lead times.
• Develop demand forecasts in partnership with Sales, Marketing and Finance.
• Lead S&OP/IBP processes to align demand, supply and financial plans.
• Manage inventory policies, safety stock and stock‑turn targets across the network.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing and logistics to resolve capacity and supply constraints.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation and continuity plans.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or advanced planning tools.
• Prepare performance reports and scenario analyses for senior leadership.
• Lead, coach and develop planning and customer‑service teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain or planning roles, with responsibility for planning processes.
• Strong leadership ability, capable of motivating teams in challenging environments.
• High sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to build strong relationships.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and evidence of implemented initiatives.
• Commercial awareness and ability to understand the technical aspects of leaflet and label manufacturing.
