Transport Co‑ordinator – Logistics Planning

About the role

The Transport Co‑ordinator will manage daily delivery routing across the Munster area, ensuring our ADR distribution network runs smoothly and meets customer expectations. Working closely with drivers, the transit terminal, and customer service, you will play a key part in maintaining a high‑performance logistics operation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise daily driver routes using internal operating systems.
• Allocate collection requests and coordinate any second‑run activities.
• Communicate any transportation delays to relevant teams.
• Support the night shift and transit terminal during peak periods and annual leave.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and ADR regulations.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of route planning experience in domestic logistics or transport.
• Strong knowledge of Munster geography.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Understanding of RSA/HSA driver‑hours regulations and ADR regulations.
• Experience with route‑planning software and basic forklift operation.
