About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead sales activities across Ireland for a well‑established supplier of industrial equipment and production solutions. The role focuses on generating new business, nurturing customer relationships, and driving commercial growth within manufacturing and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities throughout the Irish market.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while maintaining strong customer engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, conduct commercial discussions, and meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecast sales, and produce regular reporting.
• Represent the company at industry events and build long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production‑focused environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a territory independently.
• Strong organisational, communication, and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to opportunity management.
