Cyber Security Lead

About the role

The Cyber Security Lead will be the senior authority responsible for protecting Kinisla’s digital estate as it separates from the Kinisla Group and moves to a standalone organisation. This permanent, hybrid role will embed security‑by‑design into all infrastructure, application and data migrations and will continue to steer the organisation’s security posture in steady‑state operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single accountable authority for cyber security across transformation programmes and day‑to‑day operations.
• Embed security‑by‑design into infrastructure, application, data and integration architectures.
• Define, own and enforce enterprise‑wide cyber security standards for identity, access, data protection, network and cloud security.
• Provide risk‑based security leadership to enable delivery, innovation and growth while mitigating cyber, regulatory and operational risk.
• Establish and maintain the cyber security strategy, governance model and operating procedures.
• Oversee cyber risk management, incident preparedness and response capabilities.
• Ensure ongoing compliance, audit readiness and alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Drive a strong security culture by embedding cyber awareness into everyday decision‑making.

Required profile

• Senior leader with proven experience in cyber security strategy, standards and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and enforce security decisions across multiple teams and vendors.
• Experience guiding security during large‑scale transformation or migration projects.
• Strong communication skills to report to senior leadership and to promote a security‑first culture.
