About the role
The Cyber Security Lead will be responsible for safeguarding Kerry Dairy Ireland’s digital estate as the business separates from Kerry Group and moves forward as an independent organisation. This senior, permanent position will embed security into all infrastructure, application and data migrations and will shape the long‑term security strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Design and embed cyber security controls across all migration projects and ongoing operations.
- Develop, maintain and evolve the organisation’s cyber security strategy, standards and risk posture.
- Act as the single accountable authority for cyber security, providing assurance to senior leadership.
- Lead incident response, threat monitoring and vulnerability management programmes.
- Collaborate with ICT, business units and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in senior cyber security leadership roles, preferably within large, complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of security architecture, risk assessment and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing security during large‑scale migrations or organisational transformations.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of cyber security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Expertise in security architecture and design for cloud and on‑premise environments.
- Hands‑on experience with vulnerability management, threat detection and incident response tools.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
