Microsoft Purview SME (6‑month contract)

About the role

Alldus is seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview Subject Matter Expert to join a Dublin‑based client on a six‑month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. The role will support enterprise‑wide data security, governance and compliance initiatives across the Microsoft security ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Purview solutions.
• Support data governance, data classification and information protection strategies.
• Configure and manage Purview capabilities such as Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection & Sensitivity Labels, Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery, Data Lifecycle Management and Compliance Manager.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, infrastructure and business stakeholders to align solutions with regulatory requirements.
• Provide SME guidance on Microsoft security and compliance best practices.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview in enterprise environments.
• Proven background in data security, data governance, compliance and information protection.
• Experience implementing and managing Microsoft 365 security and compliance technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.
• Ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated industries is highly desirable.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC401, SC400, SC900, AZ500).
