Desktop Support Technician – Onsite (4 positions)

About the role

The company is seeking four on‑site Desktop Support Technicians to join its field support team in Cruiserath, Ireland. The role involves providing first‑line IT assistance to office users, managing hardware assets, and supporting audio‑visual equipment for daily operations and live events.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain and update the inventory of IT assets, including tracking and documentation.
• Image, refresh, and configure computers and related devices.
• Troubleshoot common problems such as printer faults, software errors, and connectivity issues.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot audio‑visual equipment, including projectors, microphones, and video‑conferencing systems.
• Operate AV systems during live events and resolve any technical issues that arise.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and IT staff to resolve complex incidents and improve support processes.
• Record support requests, resolutions, and equipment maintenance accurately.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or coursework in IT or AV technology are a plus.
• Proven experience providing IT support in an office environment, preferably with at least one year of experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Valid driving licence; a car is advantageous.
• Ability to travel to client locations and lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
