Food & Beverage Assistant

About the role

The Hodson Bay Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant to join its friendly team. You will work across the restaurant, bar, café and room‑service areas, providing excellent service to guests on a part‑time or full‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash, credit and debit payments accurately.
• Deliver food and beverage service in line with hotel standards.
• Support the restaurant, bar, café and room‑service operations as directed.
• Maintain high levels of customer care and follow the hotel’s customer relations policy.
• Handle all forms of payment securely and responsibly.
• Uphold personal hygiene, wear the required uniform and name badge.
• Observe health and safety procedures for yourself, colleagues and guests.
• Participate in training sessions as required by supervisors or managers.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in food & beverage service (preferred).
• Availability to work mid‑week shifts and weekends.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous cash‑handling experience is an advantage.
