Spa Assistant – Guest Services & Hygiene Support

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Spa Assistant to uphold the highest standards of customer service, cleanliness and safety within our spa facilities. You will work closely with therapists, front‑desk staff and management to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service in line with company procedures.
• Maintain spotless and hygienic spa areas, including treatment rooms, lockers, changing rooms and the HSE zone.
• Perform routine checks such as bulb functionality, towel and flip‑flop supplies, and equipment operation.
• Assist therapists with laundry stock, equipment set‑up and guest‑specific needs.
• Conduct regular health‑and‑safety inspections and safe testing of the hydrotherapy pool.
• Report any equipment defects, medical concerns or unusual guest behaviour to senior staff.
• Support front‑desk during busy periods and help with reception area upkeep.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, PR events and promotional activities.
• Close the spa each shift by turning off lights, air‑conditioning, securing rooms and extinguishing candles.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to courteous, professional guest interaction.
• Thorough knowledge of spa treatments, packages and facility layout.
• Understanding of health‑and‑safety procedures and ability to follow them diligently.
• Willingness to attend training, meetings and promotional events.
• Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to assist across all spa and fitness areas.

Required skills

• Basic maintenance tasks such as bulb checks and equipment operation.
• Use of cleaning equipment, including tile‑machine cleaners.
• Safe testing and monitoring of hydrotherapy pool systems.
