Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Frontend Software Engineer to advance our UI platform and support the emerging field of quantum computing. You will collaborate with Science, Product, and Design teams to shape the architecture of our development tools and help us become the leading software developer tool for quantum programming.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Horizon frontend web application.
• Work with engineers, scientists, designers, and product managers to implement, test, deploy, and maintain features.
• Apply professional software development practices and contribute to the product roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance to the Director of Engineering and mentor junior engineers.
• Document work, present results internally and externally, and contribute to research papers or technical reports.
• Collaborate with external partners on intellectual property related to quantum hardware and software.
• Stay current with the latest software development advances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of frontend engineering experience in a high‑performing team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple time zones.
• Proven track record of shipping high‑quality products on time.
