General Manager – Community Pharmacy (Meath)

About the role

This senior leadership position oversees a community pharmacy in Meath, ensuring smooth daily operations, high customer service standards, and alignment with the wider pharmacy group’s goals.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the branch and the Group Office, ensuring clear and timely information flow.
• Create and maintain a positive, respectful, and well‑organised working environment.
• Support, guide, and develop the team, setting clear expectations while remaining approachable.
• Monitor sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive promotions and in‑store initiatives.
• Oversee retail and dispensary operations, including stock, administration, compliance, safety, and presentation.
• Step in to assist the team during busy periods or when challenges arise.

Required profile

• Solid retail management experience, preferably with pharmacy exposure.
• Calm, confident leadership style with strong people skills.
• Good commercial awareness and practical problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills for working with retail, dispensary, and Group Office teams.
• Highly organised, reliable, consistent and able to build trust naturally.
