IT Support Engineer (Level 2) – Microsoft 365 & Azure

About the role

Our Dublin‑based client is seeking a Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join a growing team. The role is permanent, fully onsite and focuses on supporting a Microsoft‑centric environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and remote users.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
• Manage Azure, Entra ID, Intune/Endpoint Manager, MFA and user access.
• Resolve Windows 10/11, networking, VPN, printer and hardware issues.
• Assist with server tasks, Active Directory, patching and backups.
• Support cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection and compliance standards.
• Participate in IT projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Strong background in Windows desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Intune/Endpoint Manager and Entra ID.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Previous experience in a legal or professional services setting is desirable.
• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience; Microsoft certifications are a plus.
